I have long hair and I find it a right pain getting into my suit. I didn’t have short hair last time I wore a zentai lycra and now I find I get my hair caught in the zip when doing up the back. Anyone solved this problem well? I fixed the tightness problem too. She’ll put on the cap and zip up. Her suits stretch a good deal so she can actually pull off the cap under the suit. When it’s off, I’ll just pull it out the back zip by unzipping her suit halfway down her spine. Cap comes out, zip gets closed back up! I first “twins” my hair in one long tail and places it on the side of my neck. Then pulls on the hood an places one finger right under the zipper as I zip down to prevent any ” loose” hair to get stuck.
Another method I use is almost like the wig cap. Snip a leg off a ph. Pull it over your arm, twin a ponytail, grab it as far out that you can with your ph-arm and then pull the ph over your hair, or as far as you like. Now you got a kind of “nylon tail”, depending on the length of your hair. Interesting thread, though Another concept that I might add to this in time is wearing zentai with a long beard. I’m currently growing my beard out to its maximum length, or at least I hope too. I’m currently 5 months in and its about 2.5 inches long going on 2.75″. It can be a pain when dealing with a front zip closure, but the biggest problem is afterwards and its all flat. Combing it out is impossible (well, it isn’t really but it takes awhile and there’s lots of snags). I suppose as it gets longer in the next several months, I’ll be able to tie it up like a pony-tail, or roll it up like some Sikhs and other people with really long beards do. It would probably remedy that problem, but its got to grow past the awkward stages first.
The beard doesn’t seem to impact my experience while in Zentai negatively, in fact I find it quite the opposite, It feels neat when the material presses against it and plus as my beard gets longer it makes a bulge in the bottom face part of the mask. Plus the longer beard doesn’t stick out so much. It might feel weird at first, but if a long beard is important to you as it is to me, then you’ll get used to it, and might gain a greater experience from having the long beard while wearing a suit. I wore my suit yesterday to bed with the hood up and it was a great experience. In fact it seems as the longer my beard gets the less hassle it is when trying to comb it out once I get out off the suit.
I also have a back zipping suit as well, I just don’t have it imaged. As for zipping in the front, with a short beard that’s easy. Just pull the zipper out as you zip up to make sure you don’t catch any hairs and just do it carefully. I don’t really have problems with getting either suit on with the beard, except that now that the beard is longer it tries to smother my mouth a bit and get in my nose, but moving the mask part of the suit accordingly once it is on (usually pulling the material downwards), can usually remedy this, or at least get it out of my nose. I don’t care if it covers my mouth, since I never talk while wearing the hood up anyway. It’s afterwards and combing/detangling it once the suit is off that can present a problem, at least until the beard is long enough to tie up or roll up.
